A late-life diagnosis of ADHD and ASD transformed how I view health. With both professional expertise and lived experience, I’ve spent years exploring how nutrition and lifestyle support neurodivergent well-being. I’m the first to admit I’m not perfect, I am always ‘work in progress’; learning, responding and adapting in the direction of better health & wellbeing.
My path has been a winding one—from education & travel, horticulture and hospitality, to a 25-year NHS career as a public health nurse, specialising in Autism and sleep. Along the way, I’ve integrated holistic practices like Reiki, Homeopathy and Aromatherapy, plus coaching into my learning and work. For me, the secret to calm has always been ‘creative distraction’. I use my hands to quiet my mind, and I’m now bringing all these threads together—nutrition, neurodiversity, sleep science, and the power of craft—to help others find their own route to a healthier, calmer, mind and body.
In time, I will also be offering individual or family holistic consultations – to explore where life might be getting stuck and what might help to move it on, using a coaching/mentoring style approach to help identify what might be the priority for change, with suggestions and insights to support this, from my repertoire of knowledge and resources.
